Lacto Calamine Lotion - Benefits and Review

Hello everyone!!

Today I am going to share benefits of using Lacto Calamine lotion for your skin. I will also share review of Lacto Calamine Lotion. Calamine is a pink powder consisting of zinc oxide and zinc carbonate, used to make a soothing lotion or ointment.

 Zinc oxide and zinc carbonate have healing properties when used in combination with one another and a few other ingredients, which makes Calamine lotion effective for skin irritations, such as acne, blackheads, rashes, redness, sunburn. Zinc oxide also inhibits the production of excess sebum in the skin, which causes pimples.

 Now coming to Lacto Calamine lotion by Piramal health Care. This lotion comes in two variants. One for Combination to Normal Skin and One for Dry to Normal Skin.

          


 I have been using the Hydration for almost a year now and so I would share my views on it.

Ingredients: Same for both:Aqua, Light Kaolin, Sorbitol solution 70%, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel, Castor Oil, Zinc Oxide, Zinc Carbonate, Simethicone, emulsifiers, preservatives, perfumes, and permitted colors.

Claims:
1. Kaolin contains natural minerals acts as an exfoliator and helps in dead skin removal
2. Zinc Oxide with antiseptic properties helps protect your skin from acne breakouts and helps you reduce dark spots and blemishes
3. Aloe Vera helps retain natural moisture in the skin and restores water level



Let's have a look:
1. It makes my skin super soft and helps to retain moisture
2. Although I do no have any heavy acne break out, but it does control appearance of acne
3. Although it does not reduce the dark spots in one night, but it does help to fade them over period of time
4. It does help in keeping my skin fresh and healthy
5. The packing is not hygiene friendly and you have to either pour it on your hands or dig it from the bottle which is not hygienic at all
6. Oil control variant is water based and hence good for people with oily skin
7. Acts as a good base for make up as it contains glycerin which keeps your make up in place
8. It will be great moisturiser for oily skin as it is water based, contains aloe Vera and other contents which helps control acne
9. It smells amazing!

Will I repurchase: Definitely yes!! I do not have any plans to change my moisturizer soon!
